The Cedar Room 2023 Giveaway Full T&Cs
The competition is to win a 2x3m Gold Spec, fully insulated, fully plastered garden room with the following specification:
1: 1x 3.0m wide x 2.0m deep Hardiplank room.
2: Must have 50cm/500mm clearance from all boundaries. Base is elevated off the ground slightly,
and then the Metal Galvanised legs are dug into the ground and in cased in concrete.
3: Base: 6x2 treated timber construction with 75mm celotex in between the joists. Then 22mm T&G
chipboard flooring, then Devonport laminate flooring and 100mm white bull nose MDF skirting
boards.
4: Walls construction: 4x2 treated timber construction with 100mm Dri Therm insulation.
5: Roof construction: 6x2 treated timber construction with a 300mm canopy to the front elevation
only. Insulated with 100mm Dir Therm insulation. 18mm OSB boards on top and then the one piece
Firestone rubber roof system that is glued to the ply.
6: 1x 800mm wide x 2.050mm tall double glazed single door + 1x 1.6m tall x 500mm wide window
with a top opening sash. Colour: Anthracite Grey internal/external with chrome handles.
7: Electrics: 2x Double sockets, 4x LEDS Internally, 2x LEDS externally in the canopy, 2x Gang light
switch and 1x consumer unit. Brush chrome in colour.
8: Internal walls Plasterboarded and plastered to a professional finish.
9: Exterior to be clad with horizontal Hardiplank cladding to the colour of your choice.
10: Black Guttering/Downpipe.
11: Anthracite grey metal trims around the perimeter of the roof, giving a professional finish.
12: Underside of canopy to be clad with cedar cladding.
Exclusions:
No internal Painting/Decorating.
No Armoured cable or CAT6 cable supplied or fitted.
Up to the value £10,500 including vat.
Entry closes at 11.59 on Thursday 21 December 2023 and the winner will be drawn on Friday 22
December 2023.
One entry per person. The winner will be chosen at random from the Cedar Room email subscriber
list.
There is no cash alternative to the prize and it is not transferable.
The winner will be informed by email within 7 days of the closing date, and must respond within 28
days to claim their prize. The winner will also be announced on Instagram.
Construction date will be discussed at briefing meeting and scheduled for a mutually agreed time no later than 30 April 2024.
